Bound in non contemporary brown half morocco, original board retained with printed title label tipped on to the front cover, gilt title on smooth spine. Original boards a bit soiled and worn, leather in fine condition, inside a clean copy. See J. Archer : Literature of British Domestic Architecture item 292.1 . This is the first edition. Robinson here offers 12 designs, each illustrated with 4 views and/or groundfloors in three styles: '' Timber fronted', ''Elisabethan'' and Castellated''. .
