Description: 1860 (circa). half leather. Folio. A collection of 47 steel engraved plates, 18 of Paris, 10 of persons of varying sorts and 19 of other places in France. The Paris plates are designed and engraved by the Rouargue brothers, the people plates are designed by Gavarni and engraved by Rouargue, the remaining plates (as well as the very first) are designed by Ad. Rouargue and engraved by Ed. Willmann. The plates are printed by the Parisian printer Ch. Chardon. Cond./Kwaliteit: Goed.
