With the rubber stamp of '' Brandus et Cie.'' ( successors to M. Schlesinger). Some slight marginal discolouring of the paper, due to paper quality, but a fine/good copy. Kept in a modern brown cloth portfolio within a sleeve of transparent acidfree plastic, leather title label on front cover. First edition of Chopin's opus 33. Composed in 1838 ( Brown 115 , Chominski & Turlow 72 , Grabowski-Rink 33-1a-Sm , pp 257). Published by M. Schlesinger in 1838 and available in this form until ca. 1853. This edition identical to the copy in the University of Chicago Library. Georges Platzman (A catalogue of early printed editions of the works of Frédéric Chopin) pp. 122., also with a weak title-page impression. .
